When Alexa Chung began dating a toyboy, friends thought romance would quickly melt away. But after almost two years, it seems the model and her chocolate heir boyfriend are still sweet on each other.

Miss Chung, 37, chose a grey 370 oversized Teddy Bear coat by British designers Jane and Tash, while Orson Fry, 25, opted for a navy blue overcoat and scarf. Clutching a takeaway hot drink to help keep warm, Miss Chung teamed her furry coat with an unusual blue and white check hat.

Mr Fry, a singer and a scion of the famous chocolate-making family, moved into Miss Chungs apartment shortly after they met in the spring of 2019. The Mail on Sunday revealed they were dating that June after the couple were seen smooching at a music festival. According to their Instagram accounts, they have since enjoyed several holidays together, including one to France last year.
Mr Fry, a graduate of the private liberal arts college Bard in New York, worked as a waiter before dating Miss Chung. Her previous boyfriends include Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner and Coldplay star Chris Martin.
Spotted by a fashion scout at the age of 16, Miss Chung shot to fame as co-host of Channel 4s Popworld programme. In 2010, Mulberry launched the Alexa, a sought-after handbag inspired by her distinctive style, and four years ago she launched her own fashion range.
Her boyfriend, who performs in a band called Soundtown, is the grandson of John Aspinall, the gambling tycoon and animal-park owner. His links to Frys, the firm that created the first solid chocolate bar in 1847, are through his hotelier father Cosmo. Frys later became part of the Cadbury brand.

The best tool you can get to prevent tearing up when you cut up your onions is a very sharp knife. If you need a little more protection, we do offer onion goggles! You can use any plates or bowls to dredge and dip your onions, but we really like how shallow and stackable these food prep trays are for coating food.
Personally, I prefer the battered onion rings over breaded. They don’t seem to lose their crispiness as fast, they are less messy to make, and people seem to only need a couple to get full. You can use this batter recipe on other foods too! I like using beer-batter on squash blossoms, fish, and zucchini.
Ingredients
- 10 ounces of flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tablespoon Chef Todd's Pit Seasoning
- 1 pint of beer
- 4 pounds of onions, whole
- flour for dredging
Directions
- Sift the dry ingredients together. Beat the egg in a separate bowl. Add the beer to the beaten egg. Add the egg and beer mixture to the dry ingredients, mix until smooth. Peel the onions and cut in 1/2 inch thick slices. Break the slices into rings and dredge in flour.
- Dip the rings in the batter a few at a time. Using the swimming method, deep-fry at 375 degrees until done. Drain on paper towel, season with additional salt and white pepper- Serve hot.
